Join us at The New Farm Centre for an engaging, farmer-led field day showcasing innovative applications of regenerative organic agriculture in a mixed vegetable and livestock production system.

This hands-on event will feature demonstrations of practices such as managing cover crops with livestock, pastured poultry production, minimal till vegetable production and mechanization of leafy greens harvesting.

The program is funded under Agricultural Climate Solutions (ACS) program – On-Farm Climate Action Fund (OFCAF) by Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada.

The New Farm is a place for everyone involved in our food system – from farmers to eaters – to convene and gather. Our hands-on and interactive education events let you see regenerative farming practices in action. All of our events feature delicious food prepared with ingredients from the farm.

The New Farm Kitchen is our on-farm event and education space, built in 2016 to cutting edge energy efficiency and environmental design specifications. The space features a state-of-the-art commercial kitchen and sit-down dining for 25, with room for an additional 25 people on the patio. The Kitchen is available for use by allied organizations, local non-profits, food industry business and professionals, and others working for a healthy, regenerative and equitable food system.
